Ubons Restaurant

Ubons BBQ of Yazoo, began cooking competitively in 1989. Garry Roark has led his team to victories in some of the most prestigious competitions in the country including Memphis in May, The Jack Daniels World Championship and The Best of the Best. Ubons prides itself on being known for hospitality as well as our BBQ and this tradition of hospitality gave birth to Ubons Bloody Mary Mix.

In 2004 Garry opened Ubons Restaurant in his hometown of Yazoo City, MS. Ubons Restaurant has been showcased in festivals across the country including The Big Apple BBQ Block Party (NYC), The Windy City Smoke Out (Chicago) and Que in the Lou (St. Louis). Additionally Garry and his daughter, Leslie, appeared on BBQ Pitmasters and The BBQ Crawl. Leslie Roark Scott has also appeared on Smoked, Chopped Drillmasters and Chopped Impossible and is a Chopped Champion. Garry’s grandson, Leslie’s son, Jacob, has represented his family on Kids BBQ Championship and is set to appear on 2 more competition shows in the near future.

The Ubons BBQ of Yazoo team has evolved into a BBQ Family. Ubons Restaurant brings the Front Porch of America to cities across the country.
